A very strong line-up of speakers from every aspect of the food and drink sector will be offering the benefit of their wisdom and experience at all eight events. Big names from the retail sector, multi-national suppliers, entrepreneurs from the world of restaurants and coffee chains, food safety experts, legislation gurus, skills providers and processing and packaging technology specialists will be on hand to help companies big and small improve their product offerings and profitability.
One of the main events during Foodex is a full day of innovative research and development presented by Campden BRI, which will run throughout the day on March 22. Complementing this is lecture programme which includes training lectures by the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink Manufacturing plus presentations on the latest advances in food safety by International Food Hygiene.
Another set of seminars cover the latest developments and issues in processing and packaging technology. Each day Martin Keay of En-sure Consulting will tell delegates about the implications of the new Machinery Directive and PUWER regulations for their sector.

A new 'Craft Baker's Shop' will enable smaller and specialist bakers to demonstrate their latest offerings helping independent bakers to increase their ranges Plus a series of Master Classes from inspirational bakers in the industry will be available every day at the Theatre. |
In the Food & Drink Expo Business Briefing Theatre experts from retail and supply companies will take part in a series of thought-provoking panel debates about current issues. ‘Prudence over Provenance - has the recession changed the way we eat forever?' will feature Asda's corporate affairs director Paul Kelly among others.
In the new Food & Drink Logistics Show visitors can hear how competitors Nestlé and United Biscuits took an innovative approach to transport collaboration to deliver cost and service benefits.
